I downloaded the Ubuntu 13.10 64-bit iso image file from www.ubuntu.com, then I made both a bootable dvd and pen drive.

When I put the dvd or pen drive into the computer and start up, I get Ubuntu's "try live" demo screen. Then, I double click on the icon to install unbuntu 13.10, but I do not get any response. I have tried to install Ubuntu using both the DVD and the pen drive, but I get the same problem both times.

I have an Intel dual-core 2.8 GHz 64-bit processor, and 3 GB RAM. My current operating system is a 32-bit installation of Windows 7 Professional.
