Can not mount an ISO and the one time it did, it showed up empty.

iso is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop1,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
       dmesg | tail or so

dmesg | tail

Show us the commands you used leading up to this and is it just this ISO file or have you tried and failed with more? –  Deryck Feb 3 '14 at 3:51
What type of media are you trying to mount from your cdrom? ISO? –  Maythux Feb 3 '14 at 5:51
