nm-applet doesn't appear in tray despite It marked in startup applications

@LnxSlck I run nm-applet in terminal and it works but once I close the terminal it dissapered –  Mina Eid Jan 31 '14 at 19:40
Run nm-applet with a & in the end, like so: nm-applet & –  LnxSlck Feb 3 '14 at 11:57
