I get the following error while installing Rails 3.2.14:

With sudo apt-get install rails

When i try to install rails with gem install rails it show the following error.

Please could you add more info to the question? after sudo apt-get update , sudo apt-get upgrade Full outputs of sudo apt-get install rails also the outputs of apt-cache showpkg rails –  Sneetsher Jan 28 at 11:11

after upgrading the ubuntu 12.04, every thing seems to be working fine. –  mirfan899 Feb 25 at 6:05
