As I wrote in the title, my laptop is Dell 1525 and I have a acer monitor connected to the VGA port. The problem is that the monitor's native resolution is 1366x768, and I can see only 800x600 and 1024x768 on the unknown display.

lpci | grep VGA command shows

$00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (primary) (rev 0c)

And one more thing why when I move the mouse between the screens when I move it slowly it kinda stucks on the edges of the monitor?

Come on guys, I know that these laptops are quite rare nowadays, but am I the only one that uses it? –  user1733324 Jan 22 at 18:13
