I'm running a kernel of ubuntu on my acer chromebook and I put some music on my MP3 and it worked fine. Next time I try it says error opening file :Read only file system. I am so confused any help would be appreciated!

When I run dmesg I get this.

run dmesg and see if there was an error that caused the filesystem to be remounted read-only. –  psusi Jan 16 at 5:21

What would signify that there is an error? –  ljbeuk Jan 16 at 22:08

A message saying there was an error and the filesystem was remounted read-only... –  psusi Jan 17 at 0:04

I did get this one line that looks like what your talking about. [ 15.989873] EXT4-fs (sda7): re-mounted. Opts: errors=remount-ro –  ljbeuk Jan 17 at 1:06

And what are the lines leading up to that? Edit your question and add the additional information there. –  psusi Jan 17 at 2:26
