I am using ubuntu 13.10.

I installed httpie (using apt-get), but when I try to use it I'm getting the following error message:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/http", line 5, in <module>
    from pkg_resources import load_entry_point
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pkg_resources.py", line 2809, in <module>
    parse_requirements(__requires__), Environment()
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pkg_resources.py", line 594, in resolve
    raise DistributionNotFound(req)
pkg_resources.DistributionNotFound: requests>=0.10.1,<1.0

Any suggestions?

This appears to be the same bug that is reported here against httpie in Raring bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/httpie/+bug/1213247 - if you have a Launchpad account you could mark it as also affecting Saucy. –  steeldriver Jan 8 at 15:20

Thanks, I added 13.10. –  Rosa Gronchi Jan 8 at 19:39
