Since upgrading to 13.04, when I try to reboot my computer, it gets stuck and doesn't finish shutting down. I have to hold down the power button to get it to shut down. It's acting as a home server and I can no longer reboot remotely or I will get locked out. How do I diagnose this?

This finally fixed itself upon upgrading to 14.04. Great. –  endolith Aug 17 at 17:19
