- What should I do when Ubuntu freezes? 40 answers
Whenever the entire screen is black, Ubuntu will sometimes crash. This can happen when watching a YouTube video full-screen that has a moment where it's pitch black, other content that blacks the entire screen as part of its regular operation and even when locking the computer. Audio works for a couple of seconds then stops, starts again and stops again. I cannot access Ctrl+Alt+F1 nor F2, but sometimes doing that and going back to F7 gives me my cursor, but not all the time. The only thing I can do is to hard reset my computer.
Does anyone know anything about this?
