Whenever I download a file it will not open. It acts like it is going to but it doesnt. Also when I open the location in Files and double click on it, the program won't open. I have to right click and select the file. Can any one tell me how to fix this issue?

Thanks, King

What browser? What program tries to open the files? Maybe something is messed up with your mime types. –  don.joey Dec 19 '13 at 7:18
I use Ubuntu default called Files, pretty sure its nautilus. When i click the file the default program doesnt try to open it. Nothing does again this is for every file type. –  King Dec 19 '13 at 22:10
