I'm trying to install Xubuntu on my Dell latitude d600. The version I tried to install was Xubuntu 12.04.3 LTS (Precise Pangolin) The x86 desktop version.

These are the error codes I got after booting up the CD:

EDD error bb00 reading sector 345649
EDD error bb00 reading sector 345653

How to solve this ?

If you need more specific info, let me know.

Either a bad download (check the md5 sum) or bad burn (check the CD for errors). –  bodhi.zazen Dec 18 '13 at 22:33

I used the windows 7 disk burner, I though using the verify data feature after burning would be enough? –  xubuntuhelp Dec 18 '13 at 22:35
