I think I might have deleted my ubuntu software-center or something. All I know is I can't find it in my computer.

I've already tried the terminal commands to re-install it but it says I already have ubuntu software-center, yet it's no where on my computer.

So now I've downloaded software center from the internet but now I don't have the right program to open it.

try looking in usr/bin/. there you can find it or else, type in terminal software-center –  ASCIIbetical Dec 18 '13 at 11:17
    
When you say you've re-downloaded Software-Center from the internet, I presume it is a .deb file, correct? –  RPi_Awesomeness Dec 18 '13 at 15:26

Try to open software-center from terminal by running the below command,

software-center

Or

Try to reinstall software center by running this command,

sudo apt-get install --reinstall software-center
