I have a dell vostro 1510 laptop. There is this wifi network which I have no problem connecting to with Windows OS on the same laptop. But when I try connecting to it using Ubuntu, wifi connects and then instantly disconnects and then tries to connect again. I don't have access to the router of this network. Is there any workaround here. Also it might be worth mentioning that my android device has the same problem with that network.

I have the same issue with a HP Envy 17 on Ubuntu 13.10. Did you find a solution yet? –  schlingel Jan 2 at 19:45
