How do you turn Gedit into an html editor? I want to write html but have trouble finding a reliable editor/interpreter/Compiler...

A better question is what features do you want the gedit lacks ? html is a text file and you can use any text editor you want. See micahcarrick.com/gedit-html-editor.html –  bodhi.zazen Dec 16 '13 at 17:57

In the corner of the gedit main window , you can change it to the language you want.enter image description here
