Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

My work laptop has an encrypted windows 7 installed. I just installed ubuntu 11.04 at another partition. Grub did not recognize my Windows installation.

So, as I boot, there is no option to boot it from the windows (currently at /dev/sda1).

Anyone can help me on setting up grub2 to give me the menu with the option to boot from windows?

Is that even possible?
