The update manager crashed (was frozen for several hours) during the last execution on my Ubuntu server 12.04 and did not complete the installation/configuration of many updates. I believe it happened while trying to update
mdadm on a degraded RAID1.
I managed to restore the RAID and eliminate all errors like locked installer and postgresql 9.1 being unable to start but I am still very concerned because I have a very strong feeling that not all updates were installed and its in an incomplete state. Before the crash ca. 20-30 min of installing and configuring were remaining but running the commands below took only a couple of minutes.
So the question is: Is there any way to find out where it stopped or what updates were incomplete? Can I install deb packages from
What I executed:
sudo dpkg --configure -a sudo apt-get autoremove sudo apt-get autoclean sudo apt-get install -f [ran the Update manager but it didnt find any new updates]
Thanks in advance!
