In my Asus k53e was installed win7. Usb ports from right side of notebook did not worked.

I decided to install ubuntu 12.04. In ubuntu it does not works too.

It works, when I charging my mobile phone by USB. But when I plug Pendrive, external HDD, Mouse, it does not works. Left side USB port is working well. Card reader is working too.

But right side it is 2 USB slots and the are not working. Warranty said, that it is program (OS, drivers) issue.

How to solve this ?

Please open a terminal window with Ctrl + Alt + T. Plug a USB device in any of the non-working ports and count to 5. Then type dmesg in the terminal and edit your question to include the results. –  hmayag Dec 4 '13 at 18:52

No idea? In wklej.org is dmesg reprt from Terminal. –  user222113 Dec 5 '13 at 21:26
After plugging in device you did wait 5 to 10 secs, and then typed in dmesg, right? If so there seems to be a hardware problem on your USB. The kernel initializes your USB hubs (lines 168-182). However, there should be some activity registered in the logs on connecting a device. In your case there is nothing. My - educated - guess is that it may be something as "simple" as bad contact/soldering of the USB data lines or bad connector. Reinstall win 7 (i.e. original state/OS you purchased it with) and return it for service while its still under warranty. –  hmayag Dec 5 '13 at 21:49
