I have recently installed ubuntu 13.10, but U can't connect to the internet. I'm using an ethernet connection, but when I try to connect it just loads for a while and then tells me im disconnected.

after using the lspci -v command i got this information on the ethernet controller.

Run lspci -v in terminal, and add anything with the word Network or Ethernet. –  Wilf Nov 28 '13 at 17:04
