I just installed 12.04 LTS (after having troubles with 13.10), and I can't set the resolution of my second screen higher than 1152х864, even though the monitor can support 1280x1024. When I try to add the mode with xrandr --addmode I get the following error :

aandevski@aandevski-G41D3:~$ xrandr --addmode DVI-I-0 1280x1024
X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 140 (RANDR)
Minor opcode of failed request: 18 (RRAddOutputMode)
Serial number of failed request: 31
Current serial number in output stream: 32

I'm using NVIDIA GeForce GT240 with proprietary version 319 drivers.
