After uprgrading to Ubuntu 11.04 from 10.10 The windows "Flash" and Hide. The only fixes I have seen is either changing the screen resolution after starting up(doesnt work after restart) And I cant do that because the entire screen isnt shown until restart, or windows i want to see can be seen by opening google chrome. Once I close or Open any other programs they all disapear.. How can I fix this?

I get the same thing, but only on classic mode. It says my graphics card can't handle the new Unity interface, which is false as it worked just fine in beta 2. – Patrick Apr 30 '11 at 4:45
Did you ever install Gnome 3 or Shell? I think I tried it out from a PPA at one point but may not have removed it... – Patrick Apr 30 '11 at 12:43
