I am new to ubuntuOne. I need to copy / backup a folder, using bash script. Is it possible? I did not find where are the local copies of the files, saved by ubuntuone.

Copying any files into a folder that is synchronized to Ubuntu One, will result in those files being synchronized to Ubuntu One, if the ubuntuone-syncdaemon process is running and connected to the server.

Ubuntu One however, is not a backup service, so you should not treat it as such. It is a file synchronization service. This means that any changes to synchronized files, including deletion of those files, will be synchronized across all machines connected to the service, including on the server itself.
