Whenever I wake my laptop from suspend(sleep mode), I get this black screen with a long line of error or something on it. It dissapears too fast to read it or take a picture of it tough. Each time I suspend again, another line like that is added after that line, so when I have used my laptop for like weeks without doing a restart, the screen gets really cluttered for a bit.

What might be the cause of this?

I am using Ubuntu 13.10 64bit with 3.12.x kerner.

Errors from suspending should be logged in /var/log/pm-suspend.log, check there and add the log entries to your post, please. –  drc Nov 20 '13 at 12:37

I was not able to find a way to attach a file in here. Uploaded the log to Gist: gist.github.com/Veske/7562550 –  Kaspar Nov 20 '13 at 12:44

To me there seems to be no errors, but maybe the same success text is showing each time? Then again, why? –  Kaspar Nov 20 '13 at 12:44

The error I see on the page is saying about Firmware error and CPU 1 when I wake from suspend. But I dont see any of that in the log. –  Kaspar Nov 20 '13 at 13:26

Neither do I, log looks good. Have you checked the other usual suspects dmesg and /var/log/syslog? –  drc Nov 20 '13 at 13:36
