I have a computer with an SSD for the system and an HDD for data.
I want to encrypt both of them. Is the following configuration correct?

Screenshot

SSD size: 20 GB | HDD size: 40 GB

And what is the correct device for the boot loader installation?
/dev/sda1 or /dev/mapper/sda1_crypt?

consider that in emergency cases later, you cannot access to encrypted harddisks with tools like "knoppix"-CD or similiar. For example that you locked yourself out of encrypted hard-disk and need to back-up your done work to rescue some files or similiar. –  dschinn1001 Nov 16 '13 at 20:30

I encrypt my laptop already for years (Windows + TrueCrypt). And I allways have enough backups. The fact that you can easily access unencrypted data with live CDs is one of the reasons why I do it, but thats not what my question is about. –  fnkr Nov 16 '13 at 21:29
