Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I guess the title says it all. I am using 13.04 and I have a package installed called granola. It is a power management system (I think it is no longer in the repos).

It has the commands granola, granola-gui, and granola-set-policy. I want to find the way to set the power policy through the command line so that I can set the power mode on low when booting on battery. I have no clue on how to do set the policy using the command line.

I'm not sure it was ever in the repos... It went around Planet Ubuntu and a few other places a few years ago: grano.la They've had a few releases (and have skewed their product at enterprise) since then. I'm not getting anywhere with their current "documentation". –  Oli Oct 30 '13 at 11:31
