Possible Duplicate:
Is it possible to change the order of icons in the indicator applet?

Using 11.04 beta. I see that you can no longer right-click and unlock|move tray icons.

Is there a way to actually re-order these?

Note that in 11.04 there is no more tray, so you must be talking about reordering indicators. This is achieved to a limited extent through process indicated in Jorge Castro's link. This is a duplicate, I think. – Syzygy May 16 '11 at 22:18

No, currently there is no way to do that.

@mcandre: kilaka, as you, obviously, mistook the question for being about launcher icons when it is not. It is about indicator icons. Also, you're unnecessarily rude. – nem75 Feb 23 at 14:31

Here is a link to explain the reorder among other things.

Basically, you just click and hold the icon and then you can move it to another place.

If you remove the icon from the launcher and then drag the icon from anywhere in the dash to the position in the launcher you want it located you should be able to reorder the icons to your liking. If you make a mistake just remove the icon and try again.

That's the launcher, not the tray. Also it's much easier than that – pydave May 5 '11 at 22:17
