I made a mistake when using cpio command, I forgot to specify parameter: --no-absolute-filenames, so some files in / were overwrote, after the following command was executed:

cpio -idmv < files.cpio

When I try to reboot my Ubuntu 12.04, after selected kernel listed in Grub page, then it wouldn't startup.

it shows like this:

init started: Busybox v1.18.5 (Ubuntu 1:1.18.5-1ubuntu4.1)
 *Starting AppArmor profiles
 *Mounting securityfs on /sys/kernel/security...
Skipping profile in /etc/apparmor.d/disable: usr.bin.firefox
Skipping profile in /etc/apparmor.d/disable: usr.sbin.rsyslogd
                                                                         [OK]
 * Starting portmap daemon...                                            [OK]
rm: cannot remove '/var/lib/urandom/random-seed':Read-only file system

can anyone give me some suggestions to figure this problem out?
Thank you all.
