I installed ubuntu 13.10 on my Acer v5-471G with nvidia geforce gt 620 M graphics card. But I encountered flickering, overheating, battery drain and suddedn shutdowns soon after installtion.

Then I followed step 4 of this link.

This helped solve the hybrid graphics issue on my system and now the fan speed is reduced and system is not overheating.

But after following the steps and rebooting, my system ran into low graphics mode.

Firefox, thunderbird and every other applications are showing in low graphics. How can I get the good graphics back?
