My computer is running on low graphics mode because I don't have space in /dev/sda1 when I type df -h in the terminal. How can I free up space because the sudo apt-get autoclean doesn't work for me

Could you please provide the output of du -h --max-depth=1 /? –  lub Oct 22 '13 at 20:08

Try emptying the Trash: rm -R ~/.local/share/Trash/files/* if you are sure there is nothing there you want to keep. Then, as lub suggests, use the du command to find out where your free space has gone. –  Jos Oct 22 '13 at 20:09
