There was a Windows 2008 server R2 machine with a 500GB raid 1 via Intel hardware.

I'm installing Ubuntu Server 13.04 amd64, over the raid 1...

The installer recognizes the RAID, and I confirm to active it, and everything goes fine...

The installation ends with successful, as so the GRUB boot loader instalation.

I remove the DVD and after I rebooted the machine there is no GRUB, there is no Ubuntu...

Can someone help me to find the solution?

I'm no expert on raid, but are you sure your raid system has boot capabilities? Some systems don't support booting from raid. – hmayag Oct 15 '13 at 17:53
Yes, it has, because there was Windows installed on it. – Roberto Oct 16 '13 at 18:13
Take a look at this page. It has complete instruction on how to repair/reinstall grub on your system. – hmayag Oct 16 '13 at 18:20

I solved by:

  • Recreating the raid on the machine utility
  • Installing the ubuntu server again
