So I am accessing my server remotely using PuTTy. I am using port 80 for SSH because port 22 is blocked at my school. I successfully configured Iptables to accept port 80 and I dropped all other connections. When I tried doing this with output, my connection was dropped and I could not connect to the session.

Why cant I connect to the server even though both input and output allow port 80? Is there anything I can do from school to wipe the iptables rules?
