Does this, help? –  Mitch Oct 5 '13 at 17:04

Hi @Mitch, thanks for commenting, unfortunately that doesn't help (have tried the 1st and 2nd answer) because 1) I'm using 13.04, 2) My login screen wallpaper does change if I'm using Ubuntu default wallpaper collection, while using another wallpaper of any resolution, login screen wallpaper change back to orange-purple 13.04 wallpaper. I'm using 13.04 since April, this problem only happened recently. –  Nur Oct 7 '13 at 3:59
