I have an iMac mid-2007 with a Broadcom Wireless card that is unable to autoconnect to my Wireless Network, the only way to connect is by:

Network widget => Connect to hidden network => (choose my SSID)

Here's how I installed drivers (ref: Q: “Sorry, installation of this driver failed. Please have a look at the log file for details”):

sudo apt-get purge bcmwl-kernel-source
sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer
sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter

Any thoughts? Thank you in advance.
