I'm having trouble with my SSD (Intel 520 series, 120gb) when I'm trying to install Ubuntu on my computer with a USB. It doesn't recognize my hard drive under the partition part.

  • I've been switching SATA ports just to see if there is something wrong with that, but no luck there. My SATA are set in AHCI mode and I'm using MSI Z77 MPOWER as a motherboard.

  • I've also tried with RAID mode but that didn't go either. Can I open the terminal and execute some commands for "repairing" something or what do I have to check or do to?
