Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm on a Ubuntu 13.04 machine with MATE 1.7 installed. I'm trying to open the keyboard shortcuts menu, but nothing happens.

Anyway, I can reach it through: system option -> keyboard -> shortcuts

Last week, I added a shortcut gnome-screenshot -a -c but it doesn't work anymore. So, I discover that my shortcut disappears from the menu and when I try to add it again, it doesn't work neither.

I also tried to add more shortcuts, not only those of gnome-screenshot, but no one works.

Ideas?
