While installing package I'm getting this error.

E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?

simply remove the lock file use the command in terminal

To open terminal press Ctrl + Alt + T

sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/lock

then install the package you want

sudo apt-get install <package-name>
