I have updated to 12.10 and have had several graphic problems ever since.

First boot, only tty1 was available. Unity not working at all. Cutting a long story short, after reinstalling xorg and gnome, I could finally use gnome. However, it's painfully slow. The CPU usage while scrolling through PDFs and tumblr is ridiculously high!

I checked several guides but I couldn't understand what is wrong with the video driver. This is the result to
