Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I just installed Ubuntu on my second laptop; but I am unable to connect it to the internet. I'm unsure what to do in the VPN Network Manager settings.

The laptop I am using at the moment has internet connected (naturally) but I don't know how to get it working on the Ubuntu one.

This laptop can run Windows Commands if that would be of use.

Edit: I have a Wi-Fi Internet Connection but I am unsure of how to search for wireless internet connections on my Ubuntu laptop.

First of all, are you sure that you need the VPN? How are you normally able to connect to internet? Wireless? Wired? Please, edit your question and add those details. –  Braiam Sep 4 '13 at 22:41
