I'm trying to install Ubuntu 64-bit using a CD on my PC with Ubuntu 32-bit already running. When I'm trying to Allow executing file as program I'm getting this message:

Sorry, could not change the permissions of “wubi.exe”:
Error setting permissions: Read-only file system

When I then try to change the access to Read and write instead of Read-only I'm getting this message:

Sorry, could not change the permissions of “wubi.exe”:
Error setting permissions: Read-only file system

Does anyone know how I can get past this, or have some other way for me to install Ubuntu 64-bit?

It is not clear what you are trying to ask. Please edit your question with following information. Was 32 bit Ubuntu installed using WUBI? Do you want to replace it with 64 bit Ubuntu or install 64bit along side it? –  user68186 Aug 31 '13 at 11:20
