I connect to my office network via citrix. Connecting to terminals is achieved by connect-proxy command. For web browsers I use foxy proxy

However, I am not able to use anything for Oracle sqldeveloper. Any idea if we can get sqldeveloper to use connect-proxy or atleast get past proxy?

specify which SQL developer you mean (Oracle?), but this really will not solve your question. You need to have ports open from your Citrix machine to your database (port depend on database type / Oracle-MSSQL-MySQL etc.). Your Citrix admin could help you with that. –  Dee Sep 11 '13 at 7:05

Yes its ORacle SQL developer. its not problem with CItrix as everyone connected via citrix on windows are able to access the database. –  Ubuntuser Sep 11 '13 at 8:10
