My question is related to this question in askubuntu. Yesterday, I tried installing Ubuntu 11.04. The problem with my touchpad still persists. Although the touchpad section in Mouse says two finger scrolling is enabled I cannot get it to work. So, shall I report a bug or carry on with external script for touchpad functionality ?

A bug would be great, though I don't know what package you would file your bug report on for a touchpad (would be a great question to ask though) – Jorge Castro Apr 7 '11 at 13:42
Basically I found some older reports on this issue bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/…, the workaround works but its not permanent – sagarchalise Apr 7 '11 at 21:57
