When I choose mirror screen under display settings, it only shows the screen on the laptop. I don't know where to begin.

This is ubuntu 13.04 on Asus UX32VD

Output from the requested command:

felix@felix-UX32VD:~$ sudo lshw -c display
[sudo] password for felix:

Please, add the output from this command: lshw -c display so we can know more about your system. –  Jorge Suárez de Lis Aug 27 '13 at 16:29

I added the output you requested. Please note that this laptop has "optimus" switching, so it also contains an nvidia chip. –  Felix Aug 27 '13 at 17:59

But it seems that the Optimus is switched off on BIOS setup, right? –  Jorge Suárez de Lis Aug 28 '13 at 7:06
