I have just installed Ubuntu 13.04. All my WiFi settings are fine and other devices can connect and use the net. But in my recently installed Ubuntu 13.04, it detects but doesn't connect. PCI card Dlink DWA-525

I tried this method : ( The one with the 100+ credits, No 4 )

How do I get a Ralink RT3060 wireless card working?

Now my PC won't even detect WiFi Networks.

Please I am a bit new to all this as I have been using Windows my whole life.

Any help would be appreciated

What method did you try exactly? "Option 1" (compat-wireless from backports) or "Option 2" (Ralink's drivers)? I can tell you that "Option 1" is outdated and if you followed it, then it might be the cause of the fact that you can't detect any WiFi network. –  Andrea Corbellini Aug 22 '13 at 12:42
I used the Ralink's drivers not compat –  troubledwinguy Aug 22 '13 at 13:56
