I wanted to use IDLE for python3. But it seems like some functions are missing. E.g. i can't find the menue "Run" or "Shell". Furthermore the shortcut "Shift-Key-F6" to restart the shell doesn't work. I tried to get another shortcut for the restart function (I closed and opened the IDLE after applying the change) but the IDLE doesn't react to that.

I already checked the "configure IDLE" options already, but seemingly you can't add new menues.

Does anyone know why I can't see the "Run" and "Shell" menue? And how can I restart the shell? Thanks in advance.

Regards
