I am trying to configure samba
[homes] share to use
0775 as permissions for ALL directories created via SMB share (e.g. from Windows).
I tried a lot of configuration options from Samba manual, Ubuntu Wiki and AskUbuntu, but nothing helped me.
user@HOSTNAME:~$ testparm Load smb config files from /etc/samba/smb.conf rlimit_max: increasing rlimit_max (1024) to minimum Windows limit (16384) Processing section "[homes]" Global parameter unix extensions found in service section! The following permissions are applied:
drwxr-xr-x 2 username www-data 4.0K Aug 7 13:03 111
Could somebody help me with this issue?
P.S. Solution from I cant get samba to set proper permissions on created directories does not work for me.
