I have Python3 and ipython3 installed on my Ubuntu 12.04 (64bit) I would like to create some virtual environments that don't share the system-wide installation, but I still want to be able to use backends like Qt4, Gtk and TkAgg when using ipython3 and pylab. How can I do that?

Can't you just add Qt4 and the others to the virtualenv? Not sure. –  don.joey Aug 8 '13 at 18:38
