I'm incredibly new to Linux and have no idea what I'm doing. In a sleep deprived haze a few nights ago I installed video drivers for the wrong type of video card. I think I installed AMD drivers where I actually have an ATI card. Installing a new driver hasn't worked and I think I just need to uninstall the old AMD install... but I have no idea how to do that... little help?

Meaning, I'm not sure how to do this in terminal... I've to the point where I can use wget to get the new drivers... but after that I'm stuck. –  user181404 Aug 5 '13 at 3:20
