Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I've synched my music and documents folder from one of my machines. The folders appear with the little chain icon, but when I click on them, there is nothing there. Other files that I've linked on another computer appear. I'm totally lost and the documentation isn't any help. Further, I've signed up for extra storage which doesn't seem to register on my local machine, as well as for my Android. I've installed the app, but again nothing appears. HELP! I missing something big but have no clue as to where to start.

Thanks in advance, JL

are you using dropbox, ubuntu-one, mars is awesome so let's go there - what? just saying sync - isn't helpful. – RolandiXor Mar 30 '11 at 22:03
You need to provide what ubuntu (if you are using ubuntu in any case) version you are using. what program you used to sync and what did you do to sync – Luis Alvarado Mar 30 '11 at 22:17
Which service are you using to sync your files? I know of SugarSync and Dropbox that work on both Linux and Android, but I am not sure which you are using - please clarify this in your question. – Code Friendly Mar 30 '11 at 22:40
