I read that Ubuntu now has a feature called swicheroo which somehow handles the switchable graphics in laptops. That's all I know basically.
What I need help with is that I am not sure which of my graphics card is working by default, as when I look it up in the drivers, it claims that my GPU is Unknown.
My laptop is an MSI x620 machine, which had a nice feature of changing between my graphics card, for example when I used my laptop unplugged, it automatically switched to my integrated graphics, otherwise it used my discrete card (ATI® Mobility Radeon HD 5430)
Should I download some kind of a driver first? Please note that so far, only the officially supported driver from the MSI x620 site worked for me, even when I wanted to install it on Windows, any other Catalyst software failed...this is bad news I reckon.
