Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have an Ubuntu server that I have installed KDE on it. I use XRDP package that enables users to use Microsoft Terminal Services Console to remote to my server.

I have a backup operator that I need to grant only backup operations to him. But this user can remote to my server. Is there any way to disable accessing him to SSH, Remote Desktop( using VNC , RDP and ETC)?

I have disabled accessing his SSH by configuring Shell to /bin/false for this user and it works well but the remote desktop is the big deal!
