I own a Asus UX31E, and have really bad problems with my wireless signal. At the moment I sit about 50cm away from my wireless router and have only 50% signal strength. If I go in another room, the signal disappears at all.

I have read Here that this should be fixed in Linux Kernel 3.10 (I already had this problem a year ago, and changed back to windows, where wlan worked great, but the rest just sucked). Now I have installed Linux kernel 3.9, but it is not better. Is there any other way, to improve signal strength? Is this a common problem? Are there any other drivers I can use, to improve signal strength? It would be awesome if someone could help me.
